Use as a wetting agent in fountain solutions to prevent toning. Alcohol is used to lower the surface tension of water in fountain solution
Isopropyl alcohol has a range of positive characteristics making it ideal for offset printing. It reduces the surface tension, thereby facilitating the dampening solution transport, has a cooling effect when it evaporates and it also has a cleaning effect.
