Shipping Policy and Procedures
Star Graphic Supplies utilizes a streamlined distribution network to deliver industrial printing essentials directly from the manufacturer to the shop floor.
Order Processing and Availability
Please allow 24 hours for order processing by Star. Manufacturers will have an additional order processing time of 2-3 business days on average. Flint (Varn products) often takes 3-4 business days or more. Delayed manufacturer processing can occur, and Star will notify the customer of this as soon as possible. All products ship directly from the manufacturer or supplier. No products are carried onsite at the Star Graphic Supplies office location, and products are not available for pickup.
Shipping times to the customer will vary based on the product and manufacturer's location. Certain items, such as custom color inks, packing paper, and press blankets, require manufacturing before shipping. Star provides an estimate of this time based on the manufacturer’s internal scheduling.
Shipping Methods and Carriers
Standard delivery is provided via UPS Ground. Star works directly with UPS to secure the lowest available costs. While shipping estimates are available at checkout, they are estimates only and are not firm. Final shipping costs are calculated prior to order completion, on the checkout page.

- Hazardous Materials: Surcharges assessed by UPS and other common carriers for shipping hazardous materials will be noted on the applicable product and included in the order total.
- Expedited Delivery: Expedited options may only be available under extraordinary circumstances and are not guaranteed until confirmed. Costs for approved expedited service will be quoted and charged once approved.
- Freight Shipments: Packaging is determined by the manufacturer or supplier at their discretion. Some products require freight shipping due to size or weight; in these cases, Star will provide a customized freight quote.
Customer Shipping Accounts
Customers may opt to use their own shipping carrier account instead of using Star's calculated shipping and UPS as the carrier. Both UPS and FedEx are available to designate. Note: Ground shipping only. Any other delivery speed needed must be confirmed with Star as available before ordering. Customers can choose the option to use their own carrier account at checkout. Please follow the ordering process instructions and contact us if there are any questions.

International Shipments
Star had customers throughout North America and has shipped to the Middle East and other global locations. International shipments can be set up in many cases. The preferred process is for the customer to provide their own designated overseas freight forwarder company as the delivery address on their order. Star will calculate domestic shipping and deliver to that address only. Direct international shipping may also be available via UPS, FedEx, or other major carriers. Tracking and Delivery
Tracking numbers will be provided for each order once shipped by the manufacturer This typically occurs the following day due to UPS system update speeds.
UPS Shipment Tracking
UPS Ground delivery does not require a signature. Packages will be left at an appropriate location or with your shipping department. For more information on carrier policies, please visit the UPS Help and Support Center.
Delays and Returns
Delays caused by the carrier are fully outside the control of Star Graphic Supplies, and delivery times are not guaranteed. For information regarding shipping and packing requirements for returns, please see our Return Policy.
Damage Upon Receipt
If a product arrives damaged from the carrier, notice must be provided to Star within 24 hours. Customers should document the damage and request that the shipping carrier acknowledge the damage prior to departure.
Star is not responsible for damage caused by the shipping carrier, as all liability is assumed by the carrier upon receipt of the product. As such, the customer is responsible for submitting damage claims directly to the carrier.
UPS Damage Claim Process
Star will send out a replacement order if requested, and the customer will be charged in full for that replacement. Credit for any undamaged, unused product approved for return will be applied per our standard return policy.
