Process INTENSE Black is designed to anchor CMYK builds, supporting dense overprints, controlled dot gain, and stable gray balance. Its fast-setting, low-misting formulation helps maintain consistent densities at high press speeds while minimizing piling and blanket contamination. A deep, neutral-tone black formulated for exceptional density and crisp edge definition on press. This intense process black lays down a smooth, even film, delivering rich shadows, solid areas, and tight type reproduction across coated and uncoated stocks.

USE CASES

• In offset printing, Process INTENSE Black carries the K plate, defining image contrast, fine lines, and type legibility throughout four-color work. Its high optical density and predictable trapping make it a go‑to choice for catalogs, packaging, and publications that demand rich blacks and precise halftone detail.
• Ideal for body text, barcodes, line art, and deep shadow builds in CMYK forms, especially where maximum contrast and readability are critical. Commonly specified for brochures, manuals, labels, and high-coverage commercial work requiring a strong, neutral black foundation.

KMI offset inks can be used as a DIRECT SUBSTITUTE for Van Son inks.

The Royal Series of sheet-fed ink proves that excellent printability, good ink transfer, high rub resistance, high gloss, fast setting, and better workability are all possible in one product. Due to the dot reproduction and superior mileage of the ink, Royal products are ideal for both high-level offset prints as well as for a wide range of offset presses. They also boast great compatibility for a large array of print paper, given their consistency and (high) density in color, even in the middle of a print job.
