- Status T: Standard for North America (USA/Canada).
- Status E: Standard for Europe/International.
- Unpolarized: Reads color as the eye sees it (US Standard).
- Polarized: Uses a filter to predict dry-back.
- 3.0mm: Standard for most color bars.
- 2.0mm / 1.5mm: For micro-color bars only.

You might notice this device is listed as a "Colorimeter" in our specs, but referred to as a "Spectro-Densitometer" in some industry brochures. Here is the advantage for you:
True Spectrophotometers are expensive because they require complex hardware to read the full light spectrum. However, for 99% of pressroom work, you simply need to know the Delta E (Color Difference) to match a proof.
The Presto Delta E uses advanced Tristimulus Colorimeter sensors to calculate precise Delta E (dE2000) values—just like a Spectro—but does so with much higher battery efficiency and at half the cost of a full Spectrophotometer. It gives you the specific data you need to pass inspection, without paying for features you will never use.
