Varn® Super-Lene

An All-purpose Small-press Fountain Solution Fountain Solution Super-Lene desensitizes the nonprint area and keeps it clean without gray backgrounds. Printers can now have big press results over long runs using a wide variety of plates – often without adjusting the fountain solution.

Super-Lene can be run with metal plates, paper masters, pre-sensitized plates and all types of grained plates. It will perform exceptionally well on all rubber based and oil based inks. Pre-sensitized and additive metal plates, camera, and photo-direct plates: From 7 up to 15 parts water to 1 part Super-Lene. Paper masters, direct image and diffusion transfer plates: From 7 up to 25 parts water to 1 part Super-Lene. Use full strength as a pre-wetting agent on paper masters. Flint Group recommends a regular professional maintenance program with special emphasis on washup of rollers, blankets and molletons to remove glaze and assure maximum print quality.
