Texsource Chem ER2 - Dip Tank Solution
Concentrated dip tank chemical designed to rapidly dissolve direct emulsions, capillary films, and residual inks in immersion systems for high-volume screen printing reclamation.
High-Volume Stencil Breakdown for Dip Tank Immersion Systems
Texsource Chem ER2 - Dip Tank Solution is a high-efficiency screen printing chemical formulated specifically for dipping tanks and soaking systems. Engineered for busy screen rooms looking to reduce reclamation labor, Chem ER2 strips direct emulsions and softens residual inks simultaneously while screens soak submerged in the tank.
Designed to break down cross-linked photopolymer, dual-cure, and diazo stencils, Chem ER2 allows stencils to dissolve and rinse freely when removed from the tank. Its concentrated chemical composition delivers extended bath longevity, allowing high-production textile screen printing shops to cycle dozens of screens through a single charging of the dip tank without experiencing premature chemical exhaustion.
Chem ER2 is non-caustic, biodegradable, and drain safe when flushed in compliance with municipal environmental standards. Formulated to be gentle on polyester screen printing mesh and aluminum frame glues, it prevents frame degradation while keeping screen turnover fast and consistent.
Key Product Features

Dip Tank Protocol & Safety Guidelines
Directions for Dip Tank Immersion
- Tank Preparation: Charge the dip tank with water and Chem ER2 according to shop tank volume requirements.
- Card Off Excess Ink: Scrape all excess plastisol or solvent ink thoroughly from the screen before submerging.
- Submerge Screens: Lower screens into the dip tank solution and allow them to soak for 1 to 3 minutes until the stencil releases.
- Remove & Drain: Pull the screen from the tank, allowing excess chemical to drain back into the dip tank reservoir.
- High-Pressure Rinse: Transfer immediately to the washout booth and wash out the dissolved emulsion with high-pressure water from the bottom upward. Do not allow chemical to dry on the mesh.
Safety & Handling (SDS Summary)
- • Eye Protection: Splash goggles or chemical face shield when mixing or pulling screens.
- • Hand Protection: Chemical-resistant elbow-length nitrile or rubber gloves.
- • Formulation Profile: Non-flammable, non-caustic, biodegradable solution.
- • Ventilation: Adequate screen room ventilation around open dip tanks.
- • Storage: Keep tank covered when idle. Store container tightly closed in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.
